Post-Game Talk: Bagel City, Jets 4 - Devils 0

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

5/5 Skeletons tonight, Helle 7th Bagel this year outstanding season, Gus Bus scores, 4th line still bringing it. Schenn with some board noise, Stanley with a quiet game. Fefe score again finally but the man tonight was I A FALL O, moves up to the top line without a hitch. Team back in first overall but there's not time for rest Sunday afternoon game against the Canucks on tap and it's another must win.

Helly is such a great player for us. I hate to say this but sometimes I may begin to take his play for granted.

Good person too. One of my kids chatted with him and his spouse outside a bagel shop for about 10 min after the end of the season last year - down to earth dude.
At the bagel shop, coincidence? I think not

Also, during the first period I made myself an everything bagel with herb and garlic, coincidence? 🤔

My 3 wish list by the end of the season

HELLY HART
PRESIDENT TROPHY
KYLE 100 points

baring anything bad luck hopefully not
40 goals for KC and MARK is within reach
Helly Vezina is his to lose...

ULTIMATE GOAL year to remember will be LORD STANLEY CUP!!!

GO JETS GO
My 3 wish list:

Helly Vezina
Helly Hart
Helly Conn Smythe

Helle breaks his own Jets record for shutouts in a season with 7. He's had 6 in 2 previous seasons.

Helle ties Ryan Miller for the 2nd most shutouts (44) by an American goalie. Jonathan Quick leads with 63.

Helle has 2 of his shutouts this season when wearing the Heritage Jersey. Comrie has 1 as well.

Stats for Jets when wearing the Heritage Jersey's this season. This is my own math, while I believe it is accurate, there may be a mistake or two in there, but nothing egregious. The Jets wore the Heritage Jersey's 12 times this season. Some players did not play in all of those games.

Back in 1st place!!!!
NJ flew all the way from NY/NJ through a blizzard to lay an egg on the ice in Winnipeg. Kinda feel bad for them getting stomped like that but it keeps Dallass down so I'm cool with it. GJG!
Keefe looked defeated in the 2nd period
He probably wishes he was still with the leafs
I never doubted the Jets would win this one 💪

Another great game by the Jets. Congratulations to Connor Hellebuyck on his seventh shutout of the season. Nice goals by Alex Iafallo and the Gus Bus! I give this game five "Houses" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Canuckleheads had been posted for your guesses. I know you're all tired of my GDTs, but I've got another one lined up for the next game. See you Sunday afternoon! Good night...

Seriously I’m enjoying Schenn’s hits … I’m not seeing to many cheap shots taken at the Jets these days.
And now for the shocking stat of the night …. Appleton lead all forwards with the most ice time of 17:02.
Another interesting stat … the first 3 teams in the central will probably have 100+ points and the 4th & 5th teams will probably have 90+ points.
