Oilers fan here. I just dropped by to say that Matthews is an incredible goal scorer. I hope that if anyone can beat Gretzky's goal record; that it is Matthews and not Ovechkin.

If Tavares could just sit out, we could spend his money on defense and a 3C. We'd be looking good going into the playoffs.

The team looks much faster, more cohesive, more structured, and quite frankly better without him.

I don't think these wins have anything to do with that incident. They beat St. Louis because the Blues didn't really show up and the leafs committed to a defensive game. They beat the Flyers in a game that I don't think anyone would say the Leafs looked inspired in, and this Ducks game was not much different than the San Jose game at home in early January. They will need to play well on Monday in St. Louis, and then they will probably lay a stinker but nonetheless beat Arizona on Wednesday. I am more interested to see them play well against Vegas on Thursday night. They have a chance to catch Boston for home ice in the first round.

I'll be more than happy if they can split those two away games. If you're going to lose Mo for 5 games, this is/was the perfect stretch to do so. Some tough matches coming up here...

Awesome. I came all the way out from BC last week to watch the Dallas game. It was amazing atmosphere in there; nothing like TV tends to or can portray it.

Nice to dominate a weak team. We took this game seriously. Could have been more but Keefe rested Matthews which is fine, but what can you say about him. A beast.
Maybe Gudas should learn to play hockey instead of yelling at goalies next time.

It’s a little thing right, but you could pump the AM line looking for numbers, but that’s not right. Its why you don’t slap an empty netter.
