Wanted that SE Division banner so badly I felt like a press fan.My mother enjoyed the game right from the start, from the opening fight, right down to the Toninato block at the end. I mentioned after the first that I hoped Bones would get some pushback from these guys in the second and third, and the team did just that. Remember back the the day when the Jets played the Capitals in back-to-back games? If the Jets won them both, it would have crushed Washington's chances to catch us for first in the division. Well, we all know what happened, the Jets lost both and the Caps started on a tear and won the division. The Jets this year are nothing like that team. They don't give up, everyone has bought in, and they seem to be having fun. Hell, who doesn't love winning? My mom gives this game four kiwi fruits out of five...

I also feel like the Jets were the better team in each of the losses. That's just how it goes sometimes. Today's game was probably the only game this month I felt like they probably didn't deserve to win, but they did. So it goes.
Off the face-off, considered a follow through. I didn't see a replay but it didn't look intentional on first glance.

Toninato comes in and out plays/produces these supposedly heralded youngsters like Gustafsson (utterly useless) and Kupari (classic look busy accomplish nothing). Keep Toninato in the lineup and have a happy new year.

Does fleury have a NTC or anything? I think he is a man of principles and would veto any trade to Toronto. Toronto has been unkind to goaltenders in the past.

Toninato's 29 and his career high is 14 points in 77 games. Nice that he's put up a few and is playing better than his norm but small sample. Reminder that Eric Boulton scored a hat trick once.
