Panarin's playmaking is better than his scoring. It's probably 50/50 for Mika, there's no reason for him to pass up great shooting opportunities like that one drop pass that went nowhere.

I’m very encouraged by how confident and skilled Lafrenière is looking. He drew the penalty on a nifty inside outside move that led to the goal, and then he set Strome up in front after taking on two guys.
