They weren't going to go on an eight game winning streak to end the season.

No one got hurt and even though he gave up 3, he made 32 saves so Igor's GAA and Save % weren't that dented.

No more national games for a while at least.

Win the next three. Start getting guys healthy and give Jones and Paju some games please.

Nothing that happened in this game made me think Boston can beat us. Rangers played at 80% effort with 3 forwards out and Boston at full strength still needed Ullmark to bail them out. The priority is staying healthy and fresh until Game 1, mission accomplished

Jones and Nils up would be great to see. Plus you never know if they'll be needed. Get into an NHL game before it's over. I'd pull the entire top 4 out for the last two games.

I do think if this was game 1 of the playoffs, Copp and Chytil are in and Kakko is back for game 2.

Try to sign a couple bargain bin vet UFAs. There will be unexpected buyouts on other teams to reach cap compliance
 
My GF's 1st loss. What did I hear from her? SHOOT the puck! WHY are you passing you had a great chance! Hmmmm, where have I heard that before?
Prior to game, flip on Canes to see it was 2-2 in OT. Come on Debbies! But nooooo, and to find out they had 2 goal lead with 5 left? Pissed me off even before start of game.
IDC, that we were missing 3 guys, they played a wussie game, when the Bruins were bringing it, and seemed desperate for win.
Pissed, but just beat Carolina and tied with 2 games left each.

100%. I thought they played well considering their roster resembled a MASH unit. Kakko, Copp, and Chytil should be back before the playoffs and I'm hoping for a miracle on ice that Motte could somehow play in the first round also.
 
No worries here. Won four in a row, missing guys. Rest up and don't no one else get hurt. Post season awaits.

Been a while since I watched a "let's go through the motions" by both sides, both teams just wanting to get to the playoffs healthy. lol

It was a little bit more of let's go through the motions on our end. The biggest go through the motions game we played recently was that game against the Flyers. We looked like we'd rather be anywhere else and the Flyers were trying hard and still got shutout 4-0 by Georgiev. To be fair they had a lot of injuries that game. This game looked like we were trying, Ullmark just played well, Shesterkin was nothing special (not terrible but not particularly great either), and we had a bunch of injuries.

I saw way too many passengers on our end than you did. Like, by alot. All good though. :) (full edit: I misread your comment, sorry, I agree we were on impulse power - but for Boston...they were all so quiet. Like, snooze fest - this felt like a charity game to me is the best way I can possibly put it. Cheers! :) )

Ullmark looked really good in the third and closed the door, first 2 periods he looked beatable. I got nothing on Shesterkin today.
