Do you consider Hughes to just be 0.13 p/game played better offensively than Tkachuck or is using career PPG pretty useless when talking about who they are today?
Brady outscored him last season. He outscored him in 4 of the 6 seasons they’ve both been in the league.
Thomas is a good offensive player. So is Brady.
Suggesting one produces more offensive output than the other, as if it’s a regular thing as opposed to the results of the current season, is just plain false.
Maybe this is Thomas’ breakout and we can expect this production to continue, maybe not. I guess we’ll see, but their offensive output is pretty much a wash over their careers.
