Axel Sandin Pellikka Signs Three Year Entry Level Contract

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Is there a chance for ASP to play the IIHF WC or is team Sweden to stacked?
MBN should be with Norway like last year.

Could think Sweden will get a lot of NHL guys for the home tournament, because it's in Sweden/Denmark. And Pellikka will fall out.

Could think Edvinsson and Johansson are more probable, if Detroit will be out of the playoffs. Then they have Samuelsson, Dahlin at Buffalo, Karlsson at Pittsburgh, Larsson at Seattle, Broberg at St. Louis etc. to pick for.

Smaller ice would do him wonders where he needs to refine his strengths against better players here
The AHL is not better than the SHL.
Hurry up and lose Skelleftea. We need ASP and MBN over right now. Give ASP Holl's spot right away and the Griffs could really use MBN as a reinforcement right now after losing Mazur(injury) and Shine(big club).
The absolute best thing for both their developments would be if they helped Skellefteå win another championship.

The AHL is not better than the SHL.

Yeah, it's not any better. It's just different with the different board play in narrower rink.

Good to experiment that already after the season, no matter how long the Swedish season will be. AHL-season will last longer, and they will do that amateur pro try-out deal for him. Any extra games and experience from NA rink just makes him better.

I think you may be misunderstanding me here

AHL ice surface is the same as NHL, which is best suited to have players playing their game with less ice to work with as they prepare for NHL duty

ASP may very well be that player to go right from Skelleftea to the NHL. MBN maybe not

Then again, MBN is already used to the small surface.

if he really has that dog in him and ends with the team

Chiarot-Sieder
Ed-ASP
Gus-Johanssen

Sign a LD that’s better than Chiarot and move him to 3rd pair and we’re a lot better. That is best case scenario with ASP development going like Mo and Ed’s and why wouldn’t it? Calgary’s defensmen intrigue me. We need a guy like Andersson that can skate has size and put up 40ish points he was my target all year than realized he was right handed
