The absence of G and Nuke were very apparent tonight. de Hann is worse than Holden and Graves combined. Holy f*** that guys needs to be cut asap. The injuries are finally catching up to this team. With Mitts revealing himself as a borderline replacement-level player for months now, Bednar has completely run his one-line team into the ground. MacK, Mikko, Cale all look like they've been playing 30 mins per night and it's only January. There's just no depth to rely on.

That’s one of my big issues, there’s just times where you don’t have it going, but it feels like it’s a flip of the coin whether they do or don’t.

That 90 pt 2C makes a big difference compared to what the Avs have now. It helps when someone can help carry the load.

I still like Mitts, but I just don’t think he’s a guy that’s going to work in Bednar’s skate faster try harder system. He will have times where he looks good, but I think this type of system just highlights his weaknesses, and Bednar has long shown that he can’t or won’t adjust his system

Mitts right now is a significantly worse 2C than JTC was.

That's where it all starts.

1. Powerplay.
2. 2C.
3. Bottom pairing.

1 and 3 should be fixable. Don't think they have the balls to find a proper 2C.

The Avs tonight sorely missed Val Nichushkin. Someone who can win board battles and make the front of the net his. Ditto (shockingly) Miles Wood.

The following players need to be punted to the moon come TDL if this Avs team wants to sniff contention:

Calvin motherf***ing De Haan
Sam Malinski
Jeri Innala
Tye Felhaber

Kiviranta-Kelly-LOC needs to be a 4th line to be effective.

And for the love of god, if Mittelstadt can't figure his shit out by the TDL I don't care what it costs, punt him and attach Ritchie for a real 2C.

Kinda wish the Avs would have claimed Poolparty now. It would be nice to have him over our 2 scrubs on the 4th line. Have we even gotten a Wood update in the past few weeks?
