He was demoted last game and the start of this game. I'm guessing Bednar told him that he needed to shoot more if he wanted more ice time again. He started doing that, and I assume that's why he was the 2C again in the 3rd, but if he can't drive that line, then we either need to trade for a center that can, or put a play driver on that line. JD or Nuke would probably work best with him.

Trusting a guy with a career-high of 25 points to drive the second line over Mitts sure feels like a demotion to me

I think they did try Nuke and Lehky with him, right? I'm gonna change my opinion, I think what he really needs is another play maker like JD. Someone that can get open and make a few passes. I wanna see JD - Mitts - Nuke, when coke bear comes back. We know Lehky MacK - Mikko will continue to work.
