It's any time the Avs get a man advantage, they go from speed and attacking to standing still and waiting for someone to do something cool

I will never understand why the team with the extra attacker provides no support to their team mate with the puck while the shorthanded team closes on the guy like a pack of velociraptors.

A coach recently told me that the Avs are missing more pieces than most know, or will admit to. Paraphrased. Yeah, too many top players missing. But not engaging in aggressive forechecking grates on me more than just about anything.

I dont know how there shouldn't be an asterisk next to the cup whoever wins it this year when things are being decided by covid. Thanks to covid Avs are gonna finish 2nd and whatever happens in the 1st round, and if the Avs Vegas play in the 2nd round, Vegas gonna have a home ice advantage. And the way this series is shaping up to be, it's gonna go to 7 games and thanks to covid, Avs will lose in the 2nd round again because they didn't have a home ice.

All in all, not sweating it. When you’re missing your 1G, 2 of your top 6 guys, 2 D men you’d play over who you had to play, and a variety of depth guys you’re gonna lose. If they get Grub and Rantanen back and are dropping Ls to LA and SJ I’ll worry.

Bednar has a long history of not making in game adjustments. Also, there has to be something going on considering the skill on the team and their complete inability to mount a come back. Does anyone have the updated record for that?
