Really solid win. After Doughty's comments about his team the other night I expected a much, much better Kings effort then what they gave us.

In some ways its surprising because PLD is finally in a location he wants to be in and playing for a team he chose to play for... But on the other hand I guess really all he wanted was the big payday and then to check out somewhere warm.


It too bad for the Kings because he's absolutely an elite player when he cares but he's RyJo 2.0 essentially and its probably causing issues in the Kings locker room given the expectations of PLD to be the 1C going forward for them.

Far too many times to count quite frankly. His lazy, irresponsible play with the puck has absolutely cost the Avs defensively multiple times this year.
