I don’t know why you guys are complaining about Mikko. The guy puts up points every game and doesn’t hurt the team defensively. Some of those lazy plays are irrelevant

1). im an avs fan so have supremely high expectations - realistic or not
2). I remember him from a few years ago when he was stupendously dominant and mikko of this year seems quite different.
3). yes - somehow he's still producing more points than the majority of players in nhl -

I don't think it's about effort. Not everyone is built like MacKinnon, who's just driving turbocharged all the time. Not even Forsberg was that.

Mikko just looks lazy when MacKinnon is always on the ice with him. He's the type of player who lets the game come to him vs. MacKinnon who goes after it.
