So after trading Askarov and signing the corpses of Marchessault and Stamkos to 25 year contracts to play with ROR, their #1 center, NOW they want to get younger?
Trotz sucks.
This whole goaltending circus should get any GM fired, but our GM is seemingly is untouchable and completely clueless.
I'm just so sick of this franchise, and it's extreme patience, pretend everything is perfect, sit on it's hands approach. It hasn't been functioning well since 2022 it's almost 2025. Change is needed, GM, coaching staff and starting goalie should be fired/traded. This should be the priority starting now.

Annunen will 100% become NHL quality under Preds development coaches. I don't understand why Bednar hated him. Last year to the beginning of this year he showed true progression with his game. He played bigger and moved with more fluidity in net. It doesn't surprise me his game took a hit these past few weeks when the coach clearly never had his back.
Really disappointed with this one. Also funny after Georigev lays an egg. What's the most logical next move? Trade Fatso of course.

Not really disappointed, because he's not really starter material but he sure as shit is better than Scott Wedgewood.

I'd not say that. Justus was JoJo caliber, I think Wedgewood will be better.
It doesnt really matter though since Georgiev will start 45 of the 59 remaining games + all the playoffs

When Justus was looking ready to take the helm, Bednar benched him for a week and he got cold. Badly managed.

Yup. They didn’t even go for one of the better backup options available probably because they know the lord and Savior Georgiev doesn’t like healthy competition.
So they decided to stick with Georgiev who is horrible and get him a shit backup so he’s not scared.
Cmac can go f*** himself honestly.

Forgot about this aspect. Once Georgiev even feels the slightest bit of heat from the backup. He crumbles. Cmac has royally screwed up our goaltending situation which should've been addressed in the offseason. Ugly stuff.
