It's a bit odd to look at Kadri with The Cup now that he's signed with the Lames. But he did his share, and more for the cup.
I still wish Avs could've kept him for a couple of more years.

I love dermy. He may not have had a chance in the finals but he played a solid role for us and did all we could have expected of him in the regular season. And he just seems like a really good dude. A lot of our team seem to be genuinely good guys. Hard not to root for this team.

Nah. Kuemper also wore a Avs shirt his day with the Avs. They were part of the Avs when they won the cup. It would be weird wearing their new team's gear for their cup day. There's a good chance they haven't even met most of the locker room yet.

Not really. It's not uncommon at all for guys not to wear anything related to their team when it's their day with the Cup. Pretty sure Jared Bednar and Nolan Pratt didn't, and if you peruse Phil Pritchard's Twitter feed there are plenty of players and staffers posing with the Cup without a single piece of team merchandise on.

It's actually a giant scheme. Calgary is going to trade Kadri back to the Avs at 50%, it's their thanks for the Avs sweeping the Oilers.
