This is a solid signing. He'll go over the line a few times and cause some issues, but hopefully he just keeps that to a minimum.

underrated signing of the day. He's not going to set the world on fire but he'll really thrive in our system IMO. Could be a solid 4th liner for us for a very long time.

I thought he was a C but looks to be a wing. I suppose a younger Cogs replacement. I'm guessing unless someone like Pageau falls into our lap or we make some sort of trade, Pavel can be penciled in as 4C for now.

Pavel? You mean Wagner, right? Much higher chance he's the one penciled in for that role.

He's a really good kid. Will hit, muck around, go into the dirty areas, and he draws a good number of penalties, too. His main problem in the past was getting suckered into taking penalties, but he has cleaned that up really well. Definitely a good value contract for you.

hope he uses Parker on his jersey, to evoke the legendary Sheriff. also, Kelly is too girly for a hockey player. give me some Czerkawski or the likes.

He gets a lot of shit for something that isn't his fault(being played at center and especially at 3C), but my God I loved this shift from him and you just know every teammate did, too.

The block at 0:37 is just insane stuff after having already blocked 4 in the shift.

That shift completely changed my perception of him after a brutal start to his Avs tenure.

I've had little to no issue with the guy, WAY more is being asked of him than there should be.

Near as I can tell, he scraps hard and plays reasonably good defense for a career fourth line guy, just cannot score for the life of him. No offensive ability whatsoever. But so far I've had no real complaints about him as the 3C.

I dont have any issues with him since hes not actively losing us games but hes probbaly not much of an upgrade over Olofsson last year. Not having any offense is a bit concerning.

Magical agent to be able to get two years.
More like agent knew the team was right up against the cap and desperate to do anything to lower the cap hit.

At least they're not yet doing what Sutter did in Calgary near the end, just hand out NTC/NMC's to any player no matter what. I still laugh at the fact that Cory Sarich had to approve the trade to Colorado. Cory Sarich!!!
