I think the Avs need to move their bumper further away from the crease. The opposing PK is extending out to take away passing lanes. They need to collapse that by having a passing option thats away from the clutter of the crease.

Also just to put it simply, no one is ever there for slot rebounds 5v5 or on the PP. Back the fk off a few feet.

Pärssinen was envisioned as a #2C by Nashville, he has the skill. I have strong belief he can be that #3C for us that Colton failed to do.

They can build him into that by giving him OZ starts, and eventually giving him more difficult matchups. The skill is there.

Actually it finally looks like Bednar and Cmac are on the same page with this player lol.

He needs to be rebuilt, confidence wise, and offensively. He's doing solid job of taking the chance so far.

Could be funny if our 3C is 5M next year, and the 2C is like 950k lol. Doesn't Parssinen need a new contract next year?

Just trade Casey in a deal for Crosby and use Parssinen as the 3C lol.
