Avs @ Mild | 6pm MT | Saving Royisalegend from himself

  • Xenforo Cloud has upgraded us to version 2.3.6. Please report any issues you experience.
This team seems so bad in the last 2 minutes of a period. Almost every time the opponent has a Grade A chance with under a minute to go.

How long has Rantanen had that hickey?

Noticed it after Christmas.

The culprit:

Kelly tried to kill Kivi

Parker Kelly-Graves (no relation to Camilla Parker-Bowles)

* Injures Wedgewood
* Flubs the puck against Montreal high in the O Zone leading to a game tying goal
* Completely misses possessing the puck leading to Bogosian having an open shot
* Almost annihilates Kiviranta

He's doing well.

The new guy

Actually that line has looked good for the most part. Still feels like an ideal 3rd line, but they've controlled play enough to change while pressuring in the OZ.

Mitts is good defensively, and struggling to produce so it makes some sense.

I have to give Bednar credit for trying it, and sticking with it.

Colton is a total north-south donkey with zero vision or general awareness.

Mitts might be one of the slowest players in the league.

Which is why Colton is a winger through and through. Casey is pretty good defensively. I think they're going to try to rebuild his game from that 3C spot if Parssinen can hang taking minutes from him.

I wonder if Mitts can ever be a 2C conditioning wise on this team for a full season. Giving him less minutes makes a ton of sense.

Nothing kills the brain like fatigue. Mitts looked like a PPG 2C to begin the season.

I think the Avs need to move their bumper further away from the crease. The opposing PK is extending out to take away passing lanes. They need to collapse that by having a passing option thats away from the clutter of the crease.

Pärssinen was envisioned as a #2C by Nashville, he has the skill. I have strong belief he can be that #3C for us that Colton failed to do.
