The refs have been fine this game, but in this downtime, I want to reiterate just how much I hate Tim Peel. He sucks.

Hopefully at no cost. It is a bit of a risk, but even as a backup he should be warming up like he’ll play.

If it was a team other than the Ducks, I wouldn’t do it.

They have a legitimate chance to win this game though. Anaheim is a real bad hockey club this season.

Fairly simple math: If Miska blows this game, it is 6 points he has blown thus far this season. Those 6 points would have us sitting atop the division. He'll have as minimum of 6 games the rest of the way. That's 12 more points lost. I don't think any team can simply drop 18 points and expect to be a cup contender. Plus he will have to play an absolute minimum of 4 games on the way to the cup final. A contender simply cannot start a series essentially down 0 - 1.

What? Starters play almost all the games in the playoffs frequently. No chance the Avs would play Miska 4 playoff games if Grubauer is healthy. Zero chance.
