caos team. mackannon letted playing selfish . not passing anything at rantanen. mackannon trying reaching 100 and having mikko stranded at it. playing selfish hockey trying making score and assist while mikko at third assist at best. mikko playing team hockey im afriad he missing 100 once more time. mikko reaching 50goal season only because excellent atletics by his own. not getting passing anything from mackannon not in line or at PPs. only by like at accidents. rebounds and stuff. mikko 150 pointseason man getting carrier killed palying here. this team playing unserious hockey. coach is sdumbet in league. seing this team playing not anything like hunger for all stargame hockey. mediocre german getting all time and possibillity at edmonton for scoreing points in serious hockey team as per getting his numbers upped as much possibol

Not sure if the AHL would have helped him too much. He still has alot of bad habits in his game that hasnt been coached out of him yet. The biggest thing with Newhook is he coasts alot. When he moves his feet and gets engaged in plays hes actually passable but when he kinda just floats around waiting for things to happen hes useless. Right now I suspect his confidence is shot. He cant do anything right.

I remember he did it a few times. The man really wanted to win with that group of guys. Players like him and MacK just plain despise loosing. I believe those guys are necessary for building a good team. Can't fill your roster with a bunch of defeatist.

Newhook also can’t win board battles to save his life, some of it has to do with his positioning but the point stands. Earlier in this game I noticed Newhook engage a puck battle along the boards with another Avs and Duck player, then for some reason stopped digging and went behind the Avs player for a backward pass I guess , then the Duck player simply passed it back to his guy where Newhook should have been cutting it off. It’s simple plays that he’s not making right now.
