Plenty of teams have had lots of prospects and never taken the step. Their core guys are all getting to their 2nd (or 3rd) contracts at high dollars. Some of them are entering their late 20s. This with not even a playoff appearance let alone a run. They have to make the playoffs next year and start making noise within 2. If they don’t, bigger tweaks will come to get that core moving.

Byram is now getting top pairing minutes and, holy crap, PP1 time. Shocking. Happy for Bo, he deserved a lot better than what Colorado did with him.
