To be fair, it’s both good and bad. P% is constantly moving, so while it may demonstrate how a team HAS played, it’s not an indication that that’s how they’ll continue, or even that that’s how they’re currently playing.Not acknowledging that point% is a better reflection of teams records than pts is quite obtuse...
Over the past month, the Avs have a better P% than all 3 of Dallas, Minnesota and Winnipeg. Yet they’re still behind all of them overall in P%.
I think it’s much better to break down teams in segments. Winnipeg was 16-3 at one point. They’re 7-7-1 since.
Basically, all the other central teams ahead are trending down, and the AVS the only one trending up. Question is, which teams will change moving forward.
