I think there's 'some' truth to that but at the same time we saw Mack be an absolute beast just about the whole 82 game season last year and he didn't wear down around Game #35 or whatever this is.

To me, it's either a player issue where the guys on this team are having an issue with someone that's on the team right now, that they wish was not OR it's a coaching issue and Bednar's time has reached its inevitable end.

Personally, I think it's a player issue and C-Mac is gonna have to address it before it's too late.

I don't know what happened from last playoffs and the start of this season but he looks like a completely different player. I know you're going to have ups and downs with 2nd-4th liners, that's why they're not stars but this guy has been genuinely awful for almost two full months now. That's more than a "slump" he's going through. He brings his linemates down, too.

When Drouin returns, I'm wondering if we don't see

Drouin - MacKinnon - Rantanen
Lehkonen - Colton - Nichushkin
Kiviranta - Mittelstadt - O'Connor

Since 37 has been so bad.

Also, does Yan Stastny always sound like his speech is slurred and drunk? He just said "you take the penalty every time and kill it off the way this PK is going" what does that even mean lmao

Watched Casey for years in Buffalo.

What you are seeing is classic Casey.. He's never been a fast skater. He's a playmaker and dishes the puck. And would go into extended droughts every year. That's Mitts. He's not and never will be Kadri II.
