When bicycles are registered like motor vehicles and taxed like motor vehicles for roads, you can have your bike lanes.

Avery's a good guy with a lot of problems. Rich pig was blocking the bike lane and only won the case because he hired billionaire's lawyers out of spite.

My guess is you're an Avery fan or Avery himself.

Avery is not a good guy. He never has been and never will be. There are a lot of good people who have problems, but Avery is just a full on piece of shit, hard stop.

Regardless of what went down here and my own personal opinion about bike lanes & this VC guy, you cannot just vandalize others' property. The fact that there was a child in the car only makes it worse.

Sean is a turd. I don't mind people sticking up for the bike lanes, though, and that's coming from someone who generally finds bicyclists to be a nuisance (particularly when you live in the sticks like me and you get stuck behind a group of them on a two-lane highway for 20 minutes).

Not sure if anyone here listens to his podcast, but he's one more "progressive" law away from becoming a flat earther. He caught the bug, and not in the "this will make me money so I will talk about this everyday" kind of thing, but he's a mark.

Still would be kind of funny for 20 minutes to drink a beer with him (while he is drinking a virgin lemonade of course).

Bike lanes and parking violations, quality of life stuff, fighting against anti-social laziness? Yeah all that is cool. But he himself is pretty anti-social as it is. Funny.

I don't own a bike myself, and won't get into it, but fighting against bike LANES themselves is not the battle dude.

things have really gone to shit since we've gone away from a shared road for pedestrians and horse drawn carriages. Born too early to fly in hovercrafts but too late to be pulled by a horse.

Let's cut the bullshit. I have 0 problems with bike lanes. Bicyclists themselves, on the other hand....

From still riding in the wrong direction, zig zagging between traffic, not obeying traffic rules ("Red light is only for cars! Screw pedestrians trying to cross the street!), oh, and let's not forget "bicyclists" also includes idiots on mopeds and other electric forms of transportation, bikes included.

And none of this tu quoque or false dichotomy nonesense, where if you're pissed off at bicyclists then you're A-OK with every single motorist on the road.

How in the blue do you allow so many of them to ride their bikes and there is a fraction of a fraction of laws in the books that penalizes dumb riders?
