the pre-season hype when they both signed in Colorado is still one I remember well, don't think there's been anything quite like it since. From memory they combined for 5 points in about a period and a half of a pre-season game and people were losing their minds!

Aebischer was amazing in 03-04, .924 in 62 regular season games and .922 in 11 playoff games. Goaltending was not the issue there.

03-04 was a really weird year. Take a look back at the others goalie "studs". The league was a few hooks away from collapsing forever.
