He didn't save us last time he was here. Why are you expecting anything different this time?Save us, Coach Q.
He made Vancouver better didn’t he? Before all the issues started thereShow me a team JT miller has made better with his presence?
Kelly, Lehkonen and Ivan are better skaters than NAK and probably Kadri too. Malinski isn't a bad skater either (he just sucks at other things). The Avs used to be able to outskate every team they played. The roster was built with a purpose.
Now?
Colton, Parssinen, Kelly, Mittelstadt, Lehkonen, Manson, Middleton, De Haan, Malinski, Ivan, Innala.
All of them are average to below average skaters.
Used to be able to run Helm, Cogliano, NAK, Burakovksky, Compher, Byram, Kadri, etc. All of who are good to great skaters.
The Avs are no longer the best skating team. They're average to below average but get propped up by MacKinnon/Makar/LOC/Girard.
I'd say that's on the GM and the higher level hockey brain trust.......The Avs used to be able to outskate every team they played. The roster was built with a purpose.

They need their Captain on ice as an inspiration. And their resident coke head who fearlessly crushes the front of the opponent's net.Maybe its the amount of games hitting them hard at the moment, but they just execute everything so bad lately.
Avs win when they manage to snipe couple in. Tonight MAF was stopping everything.
Say what you will but I solely blame Fourgiev for depleting our guys badly at the start of the season needing to outpace everyone to score 5-7 goals a game. And injuries didnt help.
Those guys need a break... I hope they wont even try in the four nations cup.
He's a self-absorbed donkey, like Georgiev and Gurbauer. Don't want him anywhere near this team, especially not for the next 5 years. He made Vancouver better didn’t he? Before all the issues started there
NAK was a very underrated skater, guy could fly. Kadri is a great skater, he just looks stiff at times. Both guys are better than Kelly, Lehkonen and Ivan imo.Kelly, Lehkonen and Ivan are better skaters than NAK and probably Kadri too. Malinski isn't a bad skater either (he just sucks at other things).
The rest ya they are not great skaters.
I can paint any picture beautiful until it turns to shit.He made Vancouver better didn’t he? Before all the issues started there
Sounds like a defeated coach.

Lol probablyWonder if his stupid ass thought the PP was fine today.
I agree for the most part, and I don’t think Jared is at fault for most of this teams issues. That is on the team depth more than anything imo.I do have sympathy for coaches when the subject of motivation comes up. For whatever complaints you can make about the coaching - faceoffs, the powerplay, line combinations, the amount of minutes certain players get or don't - it's really easy to see when certain players go into games and just flat out don't give a f***. What sort of reaction can a coach have to that? It's not a coach's job to tell a professional athlete to move around or try hard. Never mind the fact today was a significant game in the standings. I don't understand it, never have.
When effort is a consistent issue, the coaching staff needs to get involved. I'm sure that the leaders in the team are trying their best, but sometimes the coach has to get involved and put his foot down.I do have sympathy for coaches when the subject of motivation comes up.
