Could use someone like Kadri right now. We don’t have enough player with fire. It’s pretty much Nate and that’s it. In games like this we need couple of guys who will bring some emotion and fire to wake the team up

Kelly and Kivi need A LOT less ice time. They have been absolutely terrible lately. Bednar said that line brought the team consistency, but since those comments they've sucked balls. Constantly hemmed in their own zone and can't defend the cycle at all. I feel bad for LoC, because he's the only guy on that line doing anything. I would would go Ivan - Parsy - LoC for the 3rd line next game.

I don't get it, how does this team go from that effort against the Oilers, to the effort against the Stars, to the effort we saw today!? Makes no sense.

I suppose one key difference might be that the two bookend teams on this actually have the speed to keep up with the Avs, whereas Dallas might not.

The Avs used to be able to outskate every team they played. The roster was built with a purpose.

All of them are average to below average skaters.

The Avs are no longer the best skating team. They're average to below average but get propped up by MacKinnon/Makar/LOC/Girard.

This just hasn't really been a fun season to watch. The team is really just disjointed and doesn't have any kind of identity or chemistry. The lack of leadership out there is getting harder and harder to ignore and Bednar has just nothing interesting to offer this team any longer.

This team has a goalie now. They cant cry behind Fourgievs shitty play anymore. Zero excuse for lazy lack of effort hockey. I joke about Joel but im not joking. Jared is a good coach but every coach has an expiry date. Message grows stale, same ole same ole. It happens. One day Jon Cooper will get fired aswell.

Some people don’t want JT Miller, but I think Avs could use a guy like that. Not only he can put up points, but he’s a fiery type player and speaks his mind. Avs could use a guy like that instead of quiet guys who are passengers then just make excuses.

Someone needs to get out there and tell it like it is after a lackluster performance, that the team was dog shit and it’s unacceptable. Kadri was like that, Nate is like that but there needs to be few more guys like that in the locker room. We do miss Landy’s leadership too.

No one on this team outside mackinnon actually care about being good in the nhl. Seems like collecting paychecks is good enough.

I figure out a 3 year plan to retool. And hope you can compete for a cup in a few years with a youth movement.

What Cmac will probably do is cautiously push a few chips into the middle. Maybe a first and second rounder. Maybe even a Russian defensive prospect. On short term UFA rentals that don't fit the system that Bednar will barely play. Also prepare to waive parsimoniousnen to send a message to the locker room.

Why does it feel like this team hasn't played a full 60 minutes since game 6 of the SCF in June of 2022?

Bednar doesn't have any answers. Just was asked why there wasn't any energy in such a big game, and what do you do to get them going? He says it's "palms up", and "you're just a cheerleader" and to ask "them" (the players) why they weren't ready.

Man... I really like JB, but it seems like it's time to make a change. These guys just can't be bothered to show up half the time, and he seems like he don't know what else to do to motivate them.
