They find ways to lose games.Ottawa reminds me of a more talented but just as mentally fragile version of the 2016-17 Avs.

I like their core. I think with the right coach/management they could really make some noise. But yeah they do remind me of the pre success Avs a bit.Ottawa reminds me of a more talented but just as mentally fragile version of the 2016-17 Avs.
They need Jiggy to come into the locker room and call them out.
They find ways to lose games.
Said it before and I’ll say it again what a waste of talent that guy has, along with size the guy could be a top tier talent but he has zero effortI'm glad about how many guys contributed and got points in this game.
Except for ryjo
Need to respect wood!Great game for Malinski. Really starting to come into his own. Just needed a bit of patience with his game.
And can we stop calling Wood a 4th liner now please? Scores another great goal and his pass to LOC for his goal might have been even better.
So Annunen is...an enlarged Prostate. He is a complete opposite to Prostate, who is lightning fast but has shit angles and no confidence whatsoever.
Fatass challenges shooters and takes away the net. Plays with some swagger.
They should’ve gone hard for Patrick Roy.
He would’ve instilled some sense of belief in those losers.
On paper their core is great. But there's obviously something rotten in the locker room.I like their core. I think with the right coach/management they could really make some noise. But yeah they do remind me of the pre success a bit.
Yeah, f*** RyJoI'm glad about how many guys contributed and got points in this game.

Good depth scoring tonight. Malinski is a keeper. I like Justus handling the puck, if we finally had a starter capable of handling the puck we would be that much better.
He's about as low end of a 3rd liner as it gets if he isn't a 4th liner. He’s not a 4th liner. We need to stop this.
Could've taught them how to quit when things arent going their way
LOC 4G 7 A 11pts and +8 in his last 12 gms!
nevr knew the whole " duchene " drama when it happenedOn paper their core is great. But there's obviously something rotten in the locker room.
Wouldn't be surprised if trading a player like Chabot or Tkachuk is what turns around the ship. Giroux is the 'leadership', but realistically the team revolves around Chabot and Tkachuk, the most tenured of the core. Avs got lucky and Duchene requested a trade which finally washed off the loser stink (I don't solely blame Duchene for the losing culture), but we'll see what happens in Ottawa.
Amen. Especially with our small defense. We should pair it with a puck handling 1G. Such a natural fit. It’s something I work with my goalies on a ton.
I had a parent once question why I spend so much time on that; wrapping pucks around the boards, reversing passes behind the net, etc. I try to explain to them how much better and healthier your defense is when they have a goalie who can retrieve pucks, the significantly less wear and tear on them over the course of a season pays big dividends.
No defenseman likes knowing his goalie can’t and won’t handle the puck, you’re either going to rush retrievals or get hammered over and over by a strong forechecking team.

Basically 6 unanswered. Can we talk about how we scored 5 unanswered in the final 25min? I don’t care how good your squad is, no team should have any business scoring like that.
Idk about Tkachuk. I mean remember the Avs almost traded Landy and people were somewhat coming around to it? I feel like it's a similar situation to that. I think he's a good captain and trading him would ultimately be a mistake. On paper their core is great. But there's obviously something rotten in the locker room.
