I don't like that Drouin got this treatment. Outside of the bad pass to Manson in OT, I thought he worked hard tonight especially support in battles. One of the few to compete.

Drouin played over 22 minutes and was playing with Mack for a majority of the game.

I have a feeling Mitts will be traded by trade deadline. I mean it’s not just the lack of point production, he’s been a defensive liability as well.

I’m getting RyJo vibes from Mitts. Bednar saying some player look like they don’t care, it sure looks to me like Mitts is one of those players. Just like it was with RyJo and it had a distraction throughout the team.

I didn’t get to see the game but apparently a lack of effort was universally noticed. I have to wonder if Landeskog’s presence would make the players more accountable?

I edited my post where I said I’m getting RyJo vibes from Mitts. I hope I’m wrong but it’s kind of similar. When Bednar is saying some players look like they don’t care out there, Mitts sure looks like one of them and it’s affecting rest of the team. The difference is, Mitts is still a young player with upside, and he’ll have some value if Avs decide to move on from him

Regarding Mittelstadt: Signed a new contract, and then this? Boy, that trade with Buffalo looks worse and worse...... Seems like you get a player out of Buffalo, but Buffalo not out of the player.
This is not our 2C solution. Thank god the contract is tradable.

Sorry for lashing back earlier. Everyone talking about what a steal the game was, and that Blackwood's play is not normal, it just made me feel like he's not appreciated enough because I think he is playing at a sustainable level (not the 2 goal streak thing that doesn't matter). Also I felt that the team deserved credit too for this and the other wins, not just the goalie alone.
