I count the one breakaway as actually a big save. The rest were pretty routine.

And the goal was a laugher.

I still don't know what everyone doesn't see in Annunen. Is showing me prime NHL backup quality goaltending potential IMHO. Of course we all hoped for better from him. No way to know if he can be consistent by any means without more games and experience and confidence. I like the Avs are giving him a good solid look when we haven't gotten anything more special from Provy so far.

He made a high IQ play (a supposed knock against him) to slow up and wait for help when his teammates all went for a change. He lulled NJ to sleep and fed a nice little area pass to an oncoming Mack off the bench.

Happy with him so far this year.
