Bednar needs to ice Necas - MacK - Nuke. That line needs to build chemistry. They are undoubtedly our 3 best forwards and fastest too. Overload them.

My fear is that Bednar doesn't know how to work with skilled centers other than MacKinnon. Kadri had one unbelievable season. Outside of that, Bednar has never run a good 2nd line. Injuries have certainly played a large part but I'm not convinced he can run an offensive line that doesn't have the pure skill of a MacKinnon on it. It's so heavily dependent on quick strikes and not so much on dump, chase and cycle.

I completely disagree with putting Nelson at wing but it does go to show how bad he has been. The talk of the posts he has hit and as if he's just unlucky couldn't be further from the truth and Bednar sees it. His defense is even worse than the offense right now and that could be the main reason for the switch because he's completely lost in the d-zone.
