Pulling Helle when the team in front of him would be complete shit without him isn't that big of a deal. Some of you reach... but, a theme with this group has seemed to have developed, it's not just this season. Cleansing the core wouldn't be a bad thing. Retool not rebuild.

It's mind boggling the number of "fans" that show up just to bitch and complain.

It's just the math that blows my mind, really. Like obviously this is a horrible period. One bad half a period versus almost 60 games? We were .500 in this 17 game "cold streak", like I just don't think everyone appreciates how much variance is in play here.

Hahaha, holy shit. Pull the whole f***ing team at this point. Good god. They are amazingly bad tonight. Embarrass the f*** out of them.
We are not as good as we think we are -
If we don't play a hard ass game, this is how we will match up against teams like the Ave's,
That's the difference between now and the first 30 or so games.
Bones needs to get them back to the basics with hard work being the number one issue - they need to get back to where they were.

Chevy has some pondering to do in the few days - is it all salvageable?

I mean, c'mon...surely you aren't suggesting it's just this period right? I get that some people go too far with the negativity...but things haven't looked very good for a while now.

How did we win so many games with all our scrubs in the lineup?
Now we have all our stars back and we can’t score or play defense.
I’m confused.

We suck , trade the top 6 !
Trade Morrissey.
Trade Hellebucyk.
Fire Chevy into the sun.
Did I miss anything?:sarcasm:
Honestly trading our top 6 outside of Perfetti and Connor wouldn't be a bad strategy. Which of the rest are players here during the next contending window? Wheeler already has negative trade value. We're basically being held hostage by Dubois anyway. Schiefele would probably re-sign but do we want his 30s at either term or high AAV?

Hard work will only get you so far. If you don't have the skill to back it up, hard work is meaningless. The Jets have to work extraordinarily hard to score goals. That's a type of game they play. Nothing looks easy for them. I'm not surprised they're tired.

I do think there might be something to the core group tho as this not showing up for 60 has been a thing for a while, it appears t

The scrubs want it more. They have more heart. They don't take their chances for granted cuz unlike Wheeler scheif Dubois etc, they ain't guaranteed millions

17 game stretch of .500 isn't ideal, and not like what we had before, but it's far from an inconceivable 'low roll' for even a top team. And like I said, the team absolutely needs some reinforcements by the TDL. But this is far from a bad team. Did you see Shayna Goldman's (objective, stats-based) breakdown of the pieces the Jets have relative to what cup winners have? We're far from a disaster. And suffice it to say, MILES from "blow it all up".

The Avs have yet to beat the Jets this season … they were due.
Look on the bright side … Apples scored and the Jets PP is 1-1.

Even Connor, he's only noticeable 1 in 5 games
