Crap, forgot the AHL RFAs. I'd also like to qualify Kunyk, Korobov and Paradis.

I'd say start the UFA flood gates on Monday. Let the draft festivities and the weekend settle over today and tomorrow.

And how do we do that, just post hey I'd like Niskanen at 10 mil for 8 years and if I get 5 oks then he's mine?

you can only offer 7 years

LTIR or golf course
canes bump the offers for hainsey and gerbe for what they got in real world (or fake world, are we that harfcore with this yet??!!)

^ I think Boyle would want something around 3.0-3.5 million since the cap is climbing as well.

Hiller 5.5 for 5 years. I think that is a very fair deal IMO.

I need more opinions of Spezza? Paz doesn't think he should sign, IC thinks he would want more of everything.

Also are all my RFAs good?

i think that hiller deal gets it done. i doubt he gets that much from UFA, very fair offer.

:bolts

RFA:

Elliott 2 years @ 875,000
Sustr 2 years @ 875,000
Panik 2 years @ 1,750,000
Auile Qualified
Barberio Qualified

UFA:

Lindback 3 years @ 2,250,000
Pyatt 3 years @ 1,500,000

Be gentile :scared:

the numbers for panik and sustr are little odd as sustr was better last season and panik was more the odd man out. panik doesn't get that money, sustr might get little more.

you are also very generous on those UFA deals as lindbäck wasn't qualified at all by tampa.

:wings

Having to change GMs mid stream, so we will (as a group unless we find another GM) need to do the RFAs, and represent the Wings in UFA until around July 2nd when Razor29 said he'd be available if needed.

They have 3 RFAs that are likely to get more than their QO

Tomas Tatar
-----I think he will get a pretty good bridge contract 3 yrs 2.75m AAV?
Riley Sheahan:
---- Less proven and also a bridge 2 years 1.250m AAV
Danny DeKeyser:
----- I think he'll get locked up on a longer deal something around 5 years @ 3.25m AAV

Just winging ;) this as ideas and did not try to research what has been put out there. All input is appreciated

Looks like with the Florida trade (added Upshall and Petrovic) the Wings have about 10-10.5m in cap space before RFAs are signed

UFAs
Alfredsson
Legwand
Samuelsson
Bertuzzi
Cleary
Quincey

schenn and killorn got 2.5 mil and they have pretty identical production with tatar, though more icetime.

i think dekeyser should get more money on a 5 year deal but not much, few hundred K's or so.

I think you are right.

Just debate amongst us but no offers from other teams.

I still think Michalek would want more term and would get it from the market.

Fair enough. If he will be looking for longer term I will probably let him go. Like I said in my last post Cowen is available for a Left Winger at a similar age.

This is the best I could do on notable UFA offers made in the thread.

and reading through the old thread I do believe we decided that if a good deal can be agreed upon by at least 5 GMs to re-sign a UFA rather than hit the market it can be done before bidding start (sorry, my mistake caused the confusion).

[table="head;width=1000]|Position|Current Team|Current Best Offer|Bidding Team|Votes +|Votes -
Ryan Carter|F|New Jersey|2 years 1.7m (.850m AAV)|New Jersey|4|

Daniel Winnik|F|Anaheim|3 years 7m (2.33m AAV)|Anaheim|4|1

If we get agreement (5 or more votes? or majority in the debate?) I think we can call it final and remove them from the list.

Nice list AslanRH. Anyway I'd love to confirm my Brian Boyle, Anton Stralman contract offers. I think they're pretty fair.

Thank you, (I may have borrowed the table from Anaheim :) )

I do too and you got my vote

I did not count us voting for our own players, so hopefully we can get some more confirmations from other GMs.

Sorry guys I have been busy the last few days. Where exactly are we in the off-season? Still re-signing our own guys?

Getting RFAs out of the way, and trying to re-sign our own UFAs before they hit the market.

Also need to start voting on the contracts above so we can start clearing them out of the list.

Not sure if we have to explain every vote but I'm thinking it would take way too long confirming resignings if everyone kept explaining each vote. So I guess for the sake of tallying votes I'll just put mine down here like this. I will omit the Rangers since I own them and players that I want to hit free agency. I was thinking of down-voting the players I want to hit the market but I would think everyone would be hitting the market . O well this is all trial and error.

I will add your votes, but think we should explain our negative votes (which I have not done yet) so we can debate the merits of each side. Positive votes are pretty self explanatory

Just curious what makes you think Hemsky will get more term or more money. He hasn't been that great in the past few years and as the Ottawa GM would love to resign him. What do you think would be a fair deal?

Also I think that the bolded is a good idea. If you want them to hit the market and are planning on submitting an offer you should not be able to vote.

Can we have a separate thread for rosters please? I didn't manage to post mine here and everytime we have too much chatter we won't be able to quote them/manage them...

Hmm I think the money was more then fair, but the term was a year or two short. I just think that him being 30, he's going to look for more long term security. This could be his last chance for a big contract.

my other negative votes
Gilbert-No way I see him going from 4 million to 1.25 million, even if he has regressed.
Grabovski- The market for centers is very weak, I think he gets more term and money.
Iginla- I don't think Iginla takes a 1 year deal, this could be his last contract, he needs the term.
Jokinen- Way too little money for a proven 40-50 point guy.
Michalek-Guy has a history of being a very good goal scorer, I think a team takes the risk and gives him more term & money.
Vrbata - He's 33, his last contract was a steal and under market value. I think he can get more money then a 1 million dollar raise.

My negative votes:
(Yes I may bid on them if they hit the market, but I promise I am voting without malice, as in my positive vote for Hiller and Bellemore )

Grabovski: I think gets a higher AAV due to the demand for Centers currently
Hemsky: I think I will change my vote to a positive, as I thought he was younger. Still think he'll get more term from Ottawa but his injury history could limit that
Iginla: I think he'll demand a 2 year deal and at least 5.5m or will want another 1 year deal @ 6m
Jokinen: I think he will get far more term and salary on the market
Michalek: I think he will get more term (5-7) on the market or will need more salary to take a short deal.
