What’s your observation?Very interesting MacK post gm presser. Saw similar affect from jokic when they were down 0-2.
I have an observation on this. Which I was correct on with jokic.
How? This game was very similar to both games. Boston fought tooth and nail until the very last second to hold off Florida. Carolina needed a huge 3rd period in order to get by NYR.Nothing like the Bruins and Canes when they had their backs against the wall. That's why I'm not sure the Avs have another gear.
I know some people are not happy with him in this series, but I think he's been pretty great. He's putting up good numbers too. I think the only big problem with that line is the pair of 39 year old legs that plays left wing. The Mittlestadt goal was so money.
Granted, MacKinnon is an offensive juggernaut, and that's what he's paid to do. But if he's double-teamed, at the VERY LEAST start playing physicslly,Maybe...... but I've also noticed he's doubled teamed almost every shift.
His goal came when no one was checking him and even then, I don't think he was at the full speed we have seen from him.
It's clear he's not suffering from a UBI though. lol
If you're double-teamed, then at least use your speed to lay some big hits on guys. Can you imagine how many turnovers #29 could cause if he actually hounded Dallas puck carriers at full tilt. He'd be like a heat seeking missile.Maybe...... but I've also noticed he's doubled teamed almost every shift.

Absolutely lay out Tanev and Heskainen every shift.Granted, MacKinnon is an offensive juggernaut, and that's what he's paid to do. But if he's double-teamed, at the VERY LEAST start playing physicslly,

He's really out of gas
Does anyone have one for those fancy stats charts for the game? I'm curious about Manson's and Mikko's numbers.
Thank you kind sir.
Cale showed me something I didn't see much of this playoff...... Leadership on the ice.Nope. Not a chance....
Next goal wins this game.
And probably, the series.........
Ok. I get what you are saying. But he's just not that kind of player.Granted, MacKinnon is an offensive juggernaut, and that's what he's paid to do. But if he's double-teamed, at the VERY LEAST start playing physicslly,

I think 29 and 8 have too much pride to lose every home game in a series. We will see how Friday unfolds. It won’t surprise me at all if Dallas comes in and drops the hammer.
But the team just needs to take this one shift, one period, one game at a time
