One of the all-time greats in team history, but he's been brutal for 90% of this postseason
He's playing scared. That's the value having a guy like Benn who's willing to hurt the opposing defenders has.Toews...........geez..... delay of game, outlet passes directly on the stick of Star players....... don't get me started......
Ugh. I hate the NHL. Dallas fans must double hate the NHL.
That's how I feel. They gave us one win here, I'm not expecting them to beat the best road team in hockey that is 4-1 on the road these playoffs and just dismantled the Avalanche in Denver by a combined 9-2 score.Yeah, I'm not holding my breath for a miracle 3 game run, just will be nice enough to make a legit series.
The narrative some of you invent and others follow along with without ever fact checking often dumbfounds me.Mackinnon tired. Makes sense. He carried this team all season and Bednar played him 90 minutes every game
That’s interesting. Was that all positions? Among forwards? The narrative some of you invent and others follow along with without ever fact checking often dumbfounds me.
Mackinnon was #41 for TOI in the regular season. And while chasing the Art Ross, I doubt Nate would have settled for less IMO.

He was 21st in the league in TOI overall and 1st amongst forwards. 2nd in TOI/game only to Mikko Rantanen.
Well then you read them incorrectly. He definitely was not 41st.NHL.com

Regular season TOI 41st. Perhaps you’re including playoffs? Only playoffs?Well then you read them incorrectly. He definitely was not 41st.
Same place you got them. Regular season he was 21st in total TOI, 1st amongst forwards and 2nd in TOI/game for forwards behind Rantanen.yours?

Ok. Sure. 41st in TOI/GP. Not total TOI (as he played all 82 games). My original response was in response to how much he played “every game”.Same place you got them. Regular season he was 21st in total TOI, 1st amongst forwards and 2nd in TOI/game for forwards behind Rantanen.

That's still incredibly high for a forward. Since 2005-2006 only 13 forwards have played more per game than MacKinnon did this season, one of which was Rantanen.Ok. Sure. 41st in TOI/GP. Not total TOI (as he played all 82 games). My original response was in response to how much he played “every game”.
