MacK isn't throwing hits in these playoffs. I wouldn't say he's playing soft, but he's not throwing hard checks. Only 6 hits total in these playoffs so far.

I think Tanev is definitely not playing at 100%. He looks like he's making decisions quicker than usual and it's probably because he doesn't want to get hit. Kiviranta's slot chance earlier in the period was a result of Tanev rimming the puck around right to an Avalanche skater because he saw our forechecker coming in with speed.

Avs have to realize that it's speed, speed, and more speed that will beat this Dallas team. Punish them whenever you can and jump on loose pucks.

Tanev has a history of shoulder problems. You have to punish him.

Well Bednar needs to tell 1 person on every line that they have screen duty, because this shit is too easy for Otter right now. My suggestions would be,

Line 1) Lehky
Line 2) Parise
Line 3) Kivi

The doesn't even need to be overly physical. But for the past two seasons the easiest line to break out against and to pin in the Avs zone has been MacK and Rantanen. No compete when they don't have the puck.
