1) Give me your favourite pizza order - type of crust, name toppings, where you want it from, or do you make it yourself?

Thin, pepperoni, mushrooms or buffalo chicken
Pizza Hut pan pizza is awesome

2) If you could witness one historic event, with no danger to yourself, just as an observer, what would it be?

Not historic but the power of a hurricane or tornado

3) How many siblings do you have? Do you get along or wish you could trade them in? Maybe you are an only child, do you wish you had siblings?

3 sisters, one brother
To put it mildly the two oldest sisters can rot in hell.....one picked my ex in the divorce, the other violated a very confidential conversation
sister 3 is wacky but harmless and sometimes oversteps her bounds
1 brother, whom I get along well with

4) Describe the best trip you ever took - what was the favourite memory from that trip? It could just be day trips too, whatever was the best.

Bar Harbor honeymoon.....except for finding out I cannot eat Maine clams....and still cannot

Trip to Vermont....one day wife took my daughter, I took my son, left an hour before them. Just headed out, different vehicles..had no idea where the other was going....2 hours after we left, somehow we ended up in the same town, in the same diner within 5 minutes of each other.

5) What is your favourite current TV show - could be an old show but the first time you are watching or something brand new? Tell us how to watch along!

Bruins hockey, Jeopardy (I think I could do well just based on the common sense questions that those geniuses can't answer)

1. Thin crust. Cheese and maybe pepperoni. Pizza Regina

2. Signing of the Declaration of Independence

3. Two sisters. I am in the middle. We get along. @GahdenRinkRat goes to the games with me. My older sis is the only non Bs fan in the family.

4. So many..2002 Scotland with my Mom , 2 sisters and daughter. Mom had always wanted to go and at 79 we made it possible. Went back with my daughter in 2009...London...sites near London, trip to Liverpool and the Beatles tour....train from London to Edenborough (through the Lakes region in northern England). Yearly trips with Amanda on the Schooner, Many years of family vacations to Ossipee lake. Camping in Canada (Nova Scotia, PEI, Quebec). Yearly away Bs games with my kid (and a couple of times @GahdenRinkRat went with us). Prague in 2010 for Bs opening games.

5. I don't have a recent favorite. Just finished watching the Sopranos. I had started watching years ago and decided to watch it all. Loved GOT.

Supposed to be 99 today, 100 tomorrow and 98 Saturday. There's rumblings of a nice cool down coming for next week. Mid to upper 70's is absolutely perfect. Despite the heat, fall is coming because the ragweed is out of control.

I figured out that I likely had covid when I got my vaccine and that's why I had such a nasty reaction. I have allergies so I can't tell the difference between them and a cold unless I get a sore throat. Didn't have one which can only mean that I likely had a mild case when I got the shot and had 48 hours of yuck. I know exactly where I got it from too.
I have it now.
I blame Bruce.

1. Thick crust, cheese & bacon. Local restaurant.
2. There are so many that I'd love to see I can't pick just one.
3. I have a fraternal twin sister 19 minutes younger. Growing up we hated each other's guts (we are very opposite in looks, temperament & interests) Once the nephew & niece were born things got much better.
4. My trip to Kennedy Space Center 2 years ago. Got to see a live rocket launch. I'm definitely going back, at the time KSC had just re=opened and a lot of stuff was still closed.
5. Don't have one.

I think last i had it done it was around 100. A couple years ago it was 75.

I just can’t be bothered. I’ve done much worse jobs on my vehicles, but I’d rather pay the hundred bucks and save the time. My car now has a huge skid plate that has i believe 12 bolts holding it in. I refuse to wriggle my ass under the car to remove 12 bolts and then spill oil all over the place. Not to mention the Ibuprofen I’m gonna need

I guess what I’m saying is, maybe 125 isn’t that bad after all lol

My answers are kinda boring, but. . . I'll give it a whirl.

1. Typical Greek pizza

2. In the world of sports I have 2 that are tied.

"After 39 long years the Boston Bruins have won the Stanley Cup."

And John Madden back a couple decades ago when I was a kid : "What Tom Brady just did. . . Gives me goosebumps."

3. 1

4. My vacation down to Florida in 2019

5. Any of the Boston sports.

1) I love Hawaiian pizza, thick crust from a local place, used to be Gino's and it is similar to theirs but even better.

2) The building of Stonehenge.

3) I have two older brothers. I have a good relationship with the one closer to my age (2 yrs difference) but neither of us communicate with our older brother any longer. Long story, but he wasn't at my parents' funerals. The only reason have contact him is because of the will, after that I doubt I will ever see or speak to him again.

4) In 2015 we had a fairy tale trip to England, stayed in a castle, toured Coronation Street just before the original set was destroyed, visited Stonehenge, Bath (one of my favourite places in the world). We even met up with a Bruins fan who lives there and he was awesome.
Favourite memory would be staying in the castle. This was the room:

$100 oil change and tire rotation, everytime. I do it for the tires and carfax. Usually I do it but oil return is a pain.

Did the return process change recently? I did a coolant change and came away with 12 gallons of fluid, ranging in color from brown and then gradually to clear. I used empty gallon jugs because it’s all i had - i didn’t need 12 gallons of fresh fluid to replace it all. I think i had two empty coolant containers to use

Nobody would take it back because it wasn’t in the original container. That has never mattered until this time.

Those twelve jugs are still buried in my garage as a reminder of the coolant change from hell

1) Give me your favourite pizza order - type of crust, name toppings, where you want it from, or do you make it yourself? I love a good cheese pizza from Tavolino's back in MA. Here it is think crust cheese from a place called Hideaway pizza. My favorite all time tho is the Tricolore Salad Pizza from CA Pizza Kitchen. It is a thin crust pizza that has parmesan cheese baked into it. It is topped with mixed greens, tomatoes and radicchio with shaved parmesan and drizzled with a dijon balsamic dressing. I make it at home and the trick to the parm crust is to roll it out thin and then spread a cooled simple syrup (sugar and water melted into a clear, thick syrup) on top and then using a nice salty parm (I use the pastene cheese out of the jar, not fresh) and press it into the dough before I bake it until crispy yet still a little chewy.

2) If you could witness one historic event, with no danger to yourself, just as an observer, what would it be? The fall of the Berlin Wall

3) How many siblings do you have? Do you get along or wish you could trade them in? Maybe you are an only child, do you wish you had siblings? younger sister and we get along now that we are adults and live in the same general area.

4) Describe the best trip you ever took - what was the favourite memory from that trip? It could just be day trips too, whatever was the best. The time we went to Animal Kingdom. Dad and I would walk along the hotel's long walkway that allows guests to see a different part of the savannah. It was our last family trip before he got sick.

5) What is your favourite current TV show - could be an old show but the first time you are watching or something brand new? Tell us how to watch along! I don't really watch series tv anymore but some old faves were 90210, Party of Five, Scandal, West Wing, Law and Order (all series) and Revenge.

I saw High Potential on ABC the other night and am intreagued. Also want to see Dr. Odyssey on ABC as well.

Yeah, I remember it being about $75.

I have no actual intention of learning to do it myself. It would take me a lot longer than the 15 minutes i spent sitting in my car. I'm just complaining lol. I printed off a coupon so it really only cost me $100 this time.

At least the guy also washed my windshield. Felt like I was back in 1952 lol

Hope you get it!
much appreciated, the interview went well, should hear today if they are moving forward and request references.

I interviewed for another role, 13 month temp MAT leave role, I`ll take it if I don`t get the FT gig I really want but the issue is no benefits until probation period is over and, as mentioned, a Temp gig

Any way you cut it, nice to have options, I haven`t yet replied to the Temp role`s email offering me the role but will later today as I don`t want to leave them dangling and waiting for my response too long and potentially lose other candidates

At least in NY any mechanic that does fluid changes are obligated by law to take fluid drop offs

Yes, but can it be given back if it's not in an actual oil container? Say it's a milk jug for example.

I'm pretty sure there's a giant drum outside that all of the old fluids get dumped into anyway. That's how it used to be when I worked at a walmart in high school. It didn't matter how you brought the oil/coolant/brake fluid/piss back to the store, you just signed your name into a book and left the carriage by the front. Then they'd page me to walk around the building and push the carriage to the back where the recycled oil drum was, and I poured everything in.

Yes...
I have taken them in soda bottles...just drop them off and they take care of it.

Also places like auto zone have to take it....best bet is a quick oil change place

So, as a twin, do you have any kind of psychic connection to your sister - so many stories about twins mention a mental connection. I am curious if you have ever felt something like that!
