Podkolzin was a such a underrated pick for the Nucks, just thinking about the drafting from that team is kindof insane.

The next several picks consisted of players like boldy, Caufield, soderstrom, heinola, knight, York etc. What is so special about the canucks drafting when they selected arguably the BPA at that position and clearly couldn’t have screwed that pick up given how deep that draft is starting to look?

Their development looks pretty good since a lot of their young guys are doing well. But saying they have insane drafting is like saying the Oilers are draft gurus because they landed McDavid.
