This was related to the version that comes in the smaller cans though....not the normal drink
I dont think the size of the can or bottle matters.

Just more than 180mg of caffiene isn't allowed in a single, packaged drink.

Otherwise companies like monster would just start selling 2L bottles, with the upwards equivalent amount of caffiene that a 473mL(16oz) can has.
 
Logan Paul is a scumbag that has swindled millions of dollars in failed crypto projects like Crypto Zoo and Dink Doink. Also marketing that Prime garbage to children.

To be fair nowadays it seems every big internet superstar has some amount of baggage, Logan is just a particularly bad offender. The only one I can think of with a squeaky clean record is Mr. Beast.
 
It's a terrible hydration drink, you're actually much better off with Gatorade.

Hydration is basically overhyped Gatorade. Overall it's meh but I actually don't mind the energy drink.

Logan is a douche, KSI is hit and miss but it's great for Matthews brand. BioSteel sponsors McDavid and they're basically bankrupt whereas Prime is growing at an insane rate. This is only good for Matthews and the NHL IMO.

I thought it was banned in the UK though I may be mistaken.

It has way more caffeine in it than listed. Just another super bad energy tonic for kids to drink, cause why not.

The branding is hot, so could be good for the NHL. The hydration drink is trash - no sodium and no sugar kind of defeat the purpose of a hydration drink. 😆

There was an issue with importers bringing it into Canada when the energy drink version contained more caffeine than Canada allows. But this stuff is in almost every gas station

I don't think people are offended, just calling it as it is. The guys behind it are scumbags (KSI to a lesser extent)
I can see why people would be bothered about this because Paul is a douche, but yes, usually that is exactly what it is.

People in this thread are also obsessing way too much over the energy drink when he is holding the hydration drink bottle, which is the only Prime product I've seen in stores in Canada.

I don't think anyone is obsessing over it. Just that aligning yourself with a piece of shit like that should warrant criticism, smart or not.

This isn't a "Lets make fun of Toronto" situation that you guys think it is.
 
From a business perspective, honestly great for the league, should legitimately provide a boost to league recognition and perhaps viewership and probably from the right age group.


From a human perspective, the Pauls are absolutely trash humans and their audience likely isn't much better generally speaking... They really aren't who I want to see the league associating with and this kind of sucks to me. Definitely devalues my opinion on Matthews.

As a BBA graduate and current marketing specialist I would love to see the numbers over the next few months/years to see what kind of impact this actually ends up having on the league and revenue numbers.

Willing to bet that when Matthews signed with RBC people torched him for that, too.

By 'obsessing over' I meant that people are over fixating on the caffeine issue in Canada when that product isn't even sold here to the best of my knowledge, and if it is I've never seen it. I've only ever seen the hydration drinks.
