I know it's 2 games, but i like our 4th line quite a bit. They get chances and they create a lot of good things: shots, hits, attitude, defensive plays, forecheck, etc.

I am also surprised by Klingberg. He does a lot of good stuff: shifty, makes plays, skates well, passes, etc.

Great night for Matthews. I am so happy for him.

Remember he went from being a 3rd liner on the checking line, then in the expansion draft went to Minny and became a sniper with that wild goal celebration. All kinds of people bitching about it being to showy

Klingberg is so damn smooth with the puck especially when he runs the powerplay. Reminds me during Brian Leetch's short stay here.

It will, but it will work differently. We are going to see Matthews, Nylander and, yes, even Marner, take another step in the playoffs this season. It won't be winning 7-3 in the playoffs. It will be winning 4-3 and 3-2 at times, but it will be the team's best players scoring those goals.

I think the team is playing bigger and more like a pack. You see that more with scrums after the whistle and guys seem to want to mix it up.

Back to back hat tricks to start the year…..Matthews IS fire. Nylander was pretty incredible too.

Great offensive game from the team. Sammy came up with some big saves when it was close.

Some good toughness, no one fell down, Bert gets on the board, Knies with great stick work on the defensive end, they’ll tighten up defensively as they get used to each other.

I think Minten had a much stronger game, he came close to getting a couple.

Kling is pretty much the poor man version of EK. He showed that he is more aware in the Dzone.
