All parties involved should be penalized by the NHL.

The league should not put up with this kind of **** from its players.

Everyone say hi to Odog and Hayes from TSN radio who are clearly reading this thread.

Am I the only one who listened to it waiting for the "controversial" quote and didn't hear it? Just sounds like they were poking fun. I mean come on, they're twins. Easy targets.

I have no problem with an NHL player implying incest may be taking place between two brothers who play in the NHL. Not like that crosses any line or anything.

If the league penalized Avery for the sloppy seconds comment they should probably penalize Benn/Seguin (although I can't listen to the incriminating section because it was removed)

Both seem ridiculous to me, though

Everyone involved should be fined. This shouldn't be tolerated. It's only because the Sedins are Canucks and that whole Boston series that fans on other teams tolerate this.

Quite childish. "who knows what else they do together" "they look weird". Grow the eff up.

Benn and Seguin didn't say a whole lot there. I mean, it's not exactly their best moment but it's nothing to be upset about either.

Was the "who knows what else they do" comment from a player or from one of the hosts? That was the only thing that could be remotely considered fine-worthy.

To my mind, the quotes were more thoughtless than malicious, nevertheless a captain and a superstar player should know better.
The hosts are idiotic and obnoxious. Why did the Stars PR team allow their players to participate in a show hosted by such douchecanoes?

They're ****ing idiots who displayed a bullying attitude.

Sedins of course can take it. They've been exposed to much worse throughout the course of their careers and it all just rolls off their backs. But as fans we long ago grew tired of people here and in the media mocking them. They are stand up guys who epitomize a type of class that the likes of Benn, Sequin and Dave Bolland simply do not possess.

I dont think its funny at all.

Marginalizing twins, the gay community, implying incest with homophobic connotations. That is unacceptable for professional athletes especially when speaking on a public platform. The interviewer baited, they took it. Learn some basic PR if you want to be a pro athlete. Best way for an organization to teach its employees some PR 101: fine them and make them give a public apology.

This goes for any service that is for the public, whether youre working at a corner store and drop an F bomb and offend someone or you are on these guys level.

The fact that the radio station attempted to delete the part of the show where that situation went down should tell you enough about how to deal with this.
