Atlantic Standings Predictions Thread

Sure looks like the only club from the traditional bottom feeders to challenge the historically top four is Ottawa. They might be able to pass the Bruins. There other six clubs look solidly as either top three or bottom three.

Wrong about?

Sheldon said there was "no way" we finish top two in the Atlantic. Still possible we don't. But it's clearly not an absurd idea and never really was.

He's also essentially obsessed with dumping on the Leafs. Like we all like to do it... even Leafs fans. Probably nobody more than Leafs fans themselves. But this chap has made it his second job.

He spent the entire off season talking about how the Leafs were going to regress to a wild card team at best. It was a dumb take then and a dumber one now

Lol yeah that’s dumb.

Bros just clearly a troll. Sole purpose of him posting on this site is to just shit on the leafs and say negative things about them. They could sign Matthews for 1m and he would still try and put a negative spin on it.

Weird how these type of accounts are allowed but fun parody ones are not. Theyre extremely obvious with their agenda, just look at their post history for 2 mins.

The guy is obsessed. That sort of obsession is on the verge of becoming a mental issue.

Half way through the season and the Leafs sit first despite injuries to several key players throughout the season so far

See if they can actually hold on to the top spot for once.

The biggest shift from this thread is the Habs, who not only didn't finish dead last but squeaked into a playoff spot.

The Boston fall off was also a big change from the thread, I think people just stopped predicting their fall off after they kept it going so many years.

I believe bumping old threads to discuss how our predictions went is fine as long as we're not singling out posters and talking more in generalities.

Florida and Boston fell from glory leaving the Leafs as the mediocre division leader. Ottawa and Montreal climbed into respectfulness. The Panthers have the pedigree to succeed. The Sens might suprise. Montreal could repeat their last playoff run. On the face of it though, the Atlantic just looks like all SC pretenders.
