For what it's worth, I'm listening to today's Section 10 Podcast a bit at a time...

Lou Merloni said he was told, "the Sox are in huge on Soto".

Also, the Red Sox' meeting with Soto is apparently happening today in California.

...I still don't think they'll sign him.

It feels a lot like last year. Until we get a Passan signing tweet, I dont believe it.

There are many UFA I would like: Burnes, Buehler, Flaherty, Fried, Hernandez etc. , but if we get both Soto and Sasaki that is a huge off-season win.

I think they have a better shot at Sasaki then Soto. His endorsements will be key with him coming before age 25 & Dodgers already with Ohtani & Yamamoto one would think that would surely deflect from it.Add in the Redsox history of adding great arms like say Pedro or Schilling, Sale and it would not shock me.Soto though, I would bet alot against on coming here.

Could be right, Sasaki potentially gives them an ace, if you can't get Soto, maybe they sign Hernandez as well.

Yea Teoscar hit 33 homers 99 rbi batting in .270s .Yankee killer.

I think Sasaki is just gonna end up with the dodgers unfortunately
Time will tell but I think be would make more money elsewhere as face of another franchise.

I guess the Red Sox Stats guy is saying the Sox really, really like Soto

But I refuse to join that dumb bluesky platform so we will see.

I don't see it happening

I believe there is a better chance Rocket Raccoon speaks 5 languages than the Sox sign Soto

It’s just Twitter without porn bots and the dumbest ppl alive paying $8 a month to push their dumb opinions to the top
It'll fade out, just like threads did. I'll stick with twitter til the very end.

Twitter was a cesspool before Elon bought it. And yeah, there are parts where it still is. It's all about who you follow.

The Sox guy rage quitting Twitter and going to blusky doesn't faze or bother me in the least. I'll just see who reposts his thoughts on twitter.

I'd be elated if Soto came. But I don't see it. We'll be interest kings again.
