Gallifrey welcomes Russian defenseman Vladimir Konstantinov.

The Windsor Spitfires are thrilled to bring in one of the most versatile players in hockey history.

With Gordie Howe being a prominent RW in the division? Perhaps he lines up at LW in that potential playoff series.

A roster with two elite centres like Mikita and Forsberg? Maybe he plays down the middle as he did when tasked with shutting down Nighbor in real life.

And it's always nice to have an emergency defenceman available in the event of injury as well.

Welcome to Windsor, Reg Noble.

Will PM next.

Am on the clock but at work late Friday afternoon here.

I pm'd next to let him know my pick will come about 8am Eastern time Friday morning there.

So, i will actually be going back in time to pick. ;)

Savannah re-unites decade-long linemates by selecting Didier Pitre, the IHL all-star rover who joined the original Canadiens and played defense for a bit, though mostly was Newsy Lalonde's right winger on a line dubbed The Flying Frenchmen.

From heritagetrust.on.ca:
Many played brutally,” the sportswriter Elmer Ferguson once wrote in the Montreal Herald. “It is doubtful if the big, good-natured Frenchman ever did a mean or unsportsmanlike thing in his whole career.” A French-Canadian journalist described him this way: “The fans liked his lively character, his engaging repartee, his extraordinary drive and the unbelievable speed of his rushes.”

We are going to bring in yet another former teammate of Kharlamov, although they likely won't see much time together as linemates if all goes according to plan.

The Spitfires are proud to select their 3C, Vladimir Petrov. He will provide pretty much everything we're looking for at that position: attention to detail on both sides of the rink, physicality, and a deft scoring touch. Plus, I think he'll mesh well with Noble's game.

Will PM next.

I got scooped on Petrov, that was a nice pick. We'll go with another two-way Center that can kill penalties. Chicago selects Neil Colville, C

Colville finished 2nd, 2nd, 3rd in AS voting at C and then after missing 3 seasons to WWII he came back as a D and earned a 2nd team AS selection.

Colville also led the 1940 playoffs in scoring in a Cup winning effort, and once finished 4th in Hart voting

Due to the above mentioned missed war years resulting in only 6 seasons as a forward, Colville's 7yr vs.X of 72.1 underrates his offence, his 6 year score as a forward jumps up significantly to 79.2
