I was idiot enough to suggest trading Lane Hutson last year in discussions among Montreal fans, while his value "was at its highest".

Never thought his game would translate to the NHL. One of the most unique defensemen in history, stylistically.

He got lit up tonight against the Leafs but Hutson is really something. So mobile along the line and everywhere else for that matter. If he can develop some patience without the puck and really solid positioning he might be able to somewhat overcome his lack of size for an NHL defenseman. Could be a real good one. He's sure having a great rookie year.

That was a strange game. I was there. An anomaly compared to how they’ve been playing. Not used to carrying a 3-0 lead I guess. But we easily could have gone up 4-0, but hit the bar and then Leafs come back down and score. Then a quick powerplay goal then a last minute goal. The. It unraveled. That’s one you just put on the shelf and forget.

^ for reference, Nylander doing shirtless post-game interviews with a smirk on his face and saying stuff like above, while Marner looks dead serious or as if he's about to burst into tears any given second, is hilarious to me. I'm hard pressed thinking of two teammates coming across more different to each other in front of the media, than those two guys.
