Wild are missing like 400 key players. Even if Makar doesn’t play, we should be able to beat them
Should, yes, but don't underestimate the Avs ability to play to the level of their competition. They have been doing it for years under Bednar.

This season alone they have lost twice to Chicago, to Nashville, and to NYI, lost at least 3 times to teams on the 2nd half of a B2B when the the Avs themselves were rested, and pulled out numerous stinkers vs. bad teams like Buffalo, Nashville, Anaheim, NYR, and San Jose. Not to mention they haven't been very good at home, 14-9-1 (They are 14-9-0 on the road).

Let's go Red Wings!!
They play Dallas tonite.

If Dallas loses and we win the green filthy ones tomorrow, we're for the first time this season at least momentarily number two in division. And I know I know games in hand, points percentage and all that, but to even be right there with all our early season adversity is truly awesome, and a job well done from front office to coaching to players stepping up.
Duchene with two points, 45 in 46. Makes you sick

This team doesn't need Makar. Have you seen the advanced stats? When Mackinnon isn't on the ice Makar struggles to perform like Martin Skoula with a new years eve hangover.

Any Americans doing anything today to celebrate?
Lots of cities have parades and stuff, including Denver. We're having a big cold snap in the US. About ⅔ of the country is below freezing, including places in thr deep south like Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, etc. I saw this morning it was 16°F in Atlanta, which is really cold for there. Places in Texas and Louisiana, including New Orleans were supposed to get 6-7 inches of sbow, which is extremely rare. So, and lot of those parades and stuff might be canceled.

Me sitting here in South Florida and it's 65°F.

It’s a holiday for the Americans.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

I feel like you're attacking me personally since I'm here working.
