Hurry it up cause you are the pick I am worrying about.

Well so does Dwight's..but I just have a bad feeling..

you have the balls to say that to me of all people

Counting the ATD2011 , MLD , AAA , AA , A and this ATD2012 I think I have some time left on my first pick clock of ATD2011

Les Canadiens de Montréal are EXTREMELY PROUD to draft a player that keeps getting underrated , one of the greatest two-way forward who ever played the game:

Frank Nighbor C/LW

Go die. Seriously, go die.

Like..I called it from a mile away. Just go die. FFS..I quit, find another GM.

Go die. Where do you live? I find you and machete you..(waits for infraction).

This one million times over.

This is the guy I've been trying to trade up for for two days. He was THE GUY I wanted for my squad that would have fit absolutely perfectly with how I want to play a crazy defensive style of hockey.

I was so scared someone would take him before 47th , I was probably right , to be honest I prefer Nighbor than Schmidt or Lalonde.

sorry folks , but it feels gooooooooood. It was getting hot in here.

:D

Seriously though, superb pick. I was foolish thinking he would actually fall one selection from the last draft in which I took him at 43.

Pretty sure last draft proved he was at the very least on par with those guys if not above.

Probably the second best defensive forward of all-time, a fantastic passer, a playoff performer and the top guy on a dynasty. He SHOULD be a first round draft pick.

I fully agree. I was ready to take him at TDMMs 34th pick had I been able to work something out with him.

He'll fit perfectly with Red Kelly as an offensive Dman , a good two-center center , I like my foundation.

Not to mention I'm in Gretzky's division , Nighbor will come handy.

Looks like his passing is getting over-rated. He was a good playmaker, but nothing spectacular.

His passing substantiation is more quote based than statistic based, which I like to go by more than stats for people before 1930. He was defintiely more of a play maker than a goal scorer.

He was good at both , but some players were better than him at playmaking , and some others were better than him at goal scoring.Overall , Nighbor was in their league offensively , while nobody was even close to him defensively.

Split Bossy and Lalonde up?

Create two lines with a premium player on it. Get a passer for Bossy..and build a really dominant second line (or first depending on who you put on second line) with Lalonde.

This was kinda my plan but we'll see how the draft shapes up. I've been fielding a lot of trade offers

He's the reason I was hesitating to pick Brad Park. I thought a Lindsay-Lalonde duo would be absolutely terrifying, but in the end decided I couldn't start with 2 forwards when I dont pick again until 95. He's definitely a great pick talent wise, but I really don't like him next to Bossy here.

I had you pegged for Chelios-Lalonde at 31 and 34.

Did Lalonde ever play with a high scoring RW? Probably can't answer without naming undrafteds. In any case Lalonde was an RHS so Bossy would be on his backhand on the rush.

I guess I'm building from the net out this year.

Going from a great Hab to a great Leaf, I pick a player whom I've always admired, but always knew very little about until now. After researching him just a little bit, I am incredibly excited and thrilled to select both one of the strongest, toughest, and greatest defenders to ever lace 'em up, and the official donuts and coffee sponsor for all West Island Lions games.

Tim Horton, D

One of the best ever when it comes to the shutdown role.
