At the half way mark, Avs and Leafs lead the league in injuries

There is a conversation to be had about injuries, but boy does this come off as sour grapes.

You won the game, no need to make a thinly veiled thread to take a victory lap.

Or at least make it less obvious next time.
That’s not what “sour grapes” means.

Avs fans are constantly finger wagged by other fans about their enthusiastically biased announcers. Some of us watch the opposing team’s broadcast. And in the Minnesota game what did we see? We saw an embarrassing parade of excuse making by Minnesota’s local announcers. Frankly, they’re just as biased as the Avs announcers (possibly moreso). They’re just not as animated so they fly under radar.
Gosh that sounds awful, are you OK?? Perhaps we should escalate this to Bettman.

That’s not what “sour grapes” means.
Yeah you're right. I'll be honest, I originally had something far less nice there but tried to change it to something less inflammatory.

So the Avs are an injury prone team and a likely first round exit in the playoffs. Thank you for the info.
In 2022 when the Avs won the cup, they never once had their full roster until the playoffs. They always had 3+ guys injured. At one point they were missing 4 of their top 6 and were still cruising.

was that because of the price and weber contracts?

Surprisingly, no. Those contributed significantly to it but even without, the Habs led the league in man games lost over the past 3 years.

So 2 years ago for example, Habs had 10 times the man games lost to injury as the NYR. The year before that, Habs had 20 times the man games lost as the Flames did.
