We probably win either way, but having Askarov in certainly would have been more entertaining. I suspect SJ may not have wanted any extra pressure on an already excitable kid.

I can't really get on board with this, capitalism is a two way street and players can and should use their leverage to their best benefit. Of course whether this works out for the best for Askarov is an open question, but Trotz had better learn this principle because younger players are increasingly doing it.
