As of tonight we have a 3.5% chance of getting Connor McDavid

There's 32 games left. Even if we don't make the playoffs, it would be to our advantage to get a top ten pick. It's actually a pretty good idea since repeating is very difficult.

I ran it exactly 100 times because I'm sitting on the can and have nothing better to do.

Edmonton and Buffalo tied at 16 wins each. Columbus outdid the odds at 12 wins.

FYI, Kings got 6 wins.

Nobody in Dallas wants me spinning that wheel. They got a grand total of 1 win.

This year is still a shot for just number one. The top 3 doesn't start till next year. But you can still move up from 14th to 1 if you win. No more just moving up X number of spots. But that is also why the race to the bottom is so important. Whoever finishes number 2 if anyone lower than them wins they lose.

The way they do the NHL draft is really stupid. They should do it more like the NBA.
 
I did that NHL Draft Lottery simulator 100 xs and the very first one had us winning the lottery. At the end we had a 10% (and change) shot at winning the McDickey sweepstakes. Dare to dream.

Crosby was a piece but lets be honest without Malkin they wouldn't have gotten a sniff at a cup, so in a since yeah they got lucky too.
 
That draft simulator is so pointless, there is only one lottery and one chance to win, the probability itself is enough for teams to know about their chances.

Didn't stop me from running it 400 times though (Kings won 7 times).

I just ran it again and got LA on the 15th draw
