I really really like this deal. Wow. A 2nd round pick and a 6'2 right handed defenseman that went 25th overall in 2020. 20 points in 43 games as a dman in the AHL this season.

Avs will like Lehkonen as he's a young versatile player who is awesome on the defensive side of the puck and can chip in on the offense as well. With that said, Barron is exactly what our prospect pool needed, and will hopefully be more valuable to this team as they build something new.
